Default Rear shock swap to the F4i

Been doing some reading on the swap, the only reason why I am going for the swap is because my really bounces over bumps. Like a car with bad shock you see it bouncing up and down, that is how my do. I have it on the hardest setting with makes is a little better, but not comfortable for me.

I read the swap is easy 1,2,3, but the hardest part is finding a place to mount the rerservior. If you done the swap where and how did you mount the reservior.

Ialso looked at the pictures, the reservior hose for the F4i is shorter than the F3, can you just swap out the F4 hose for the F3 and mount the F4 reservior where the F3 use to be? I like where the reeservior is mounted, don't make the rear look to empty.

I did the swap and let me tell you, it was worth every penny! It is as easy as 1,2,3. Except for mounting the reservoir. I cleaned up a lot of my wiring that's front of the battery box (via zip ties, etc) and mouned my shock with the hose coming out of the left side (same as the fuel valve). Now my reservoir sits right in front of all those wire connectors and clears the gas tank. At 1st it rubbed on the fuel shutoff valve but with a little work it dosn't touch anything any more. That's how I did mine, hope this helps. The ride is so much better overall. Oh and I mounted it with zip ties. It holds rather well, but I imagine I'llhave to keep an eye on it in case the zip ties break over time.

The swap went good, perfect fit. I love it, the bike has a new ride height I have to get use too. I don't have to get racing pegs when I get my lean on.

Anybody that is over 5'10" will enjoy this swap.

I already have the F4i kickstand, thanks

It raised mine exactly 2 inches in the rear. I use the stock kickstand but it leans like crazy. Hasn't fallen over yet (knocks on wood!).

That sounds like some upgrade but my bike is dropped 2 inches in the front. Do you think that would be too much of a lean?
