I don't get how that happens, I felt the bike run out of gas and pulled the clutch in, shifted to N, shut the bike off and rolled all the way to a gas station!! when i put gas in it, i could only put 3.9 gallons in, what gives! wheres my extra .6 hiding??

 

isnt the .6 for the "reserve" or do you mean you ran out of gas even on the "res" setting ?

 

i ran out of gas on the reserve setting!

 

damn that sucks (been there) .. how full are you filling it ? maybe your losing your .6 there ?

haha its not that for sure, the bike is mint. maybe i didnt fill it up far enough, i thought i went to the little metal strip.

 

I fill it damn near to the brim!!

 

fill it up untill it starts to over flow .. which is why there is that hose connected that lets the excess gas spill out under your bike lol... then you will never doubt just how full it is

 

did u fill up on kick stand or holding straight up with you on?

 

Most gas tanks hold a smidgen more than even the reserve can suck out.
