Whel my bike is finaly converted into race bike. I'll be racing from 2010 and taking it out on the track on 17th August. Will be running in advanced group and hope to get the bike home in same condition, but you never know. so decided to take some pics before i take out for a bash on the track.
The front fairing is standard F3 and the tail is of race CBR600 '05. Made the undertail out if sheet of plastik as well. Front master sylinder is off Fireblade '00, Rearsets are universal cheap things and needed brackets made up, but they look good and work very very well. I also have a quick shifter fitted to it as well. So more or less ready for racing. Hoping to get some work done on the suspention next year if the funds are there but its not too bad after fitting F4i rear shock and changing the fork oil to thiker one.
I used rattle cans to painted it but didnt buther with the clear coat as it started to take too much time.

What race org. are you going to be running with in 2010? I'm setting up my F3 to run in the 2010 season with WERA. Do you have or how did you mount your steering damper?

 

Also I hope you started safety wiring everything after these pics.

 

I am thinking about painting my bike with rattle cans. Is there any tips you can give me, or suggestions, because it looks like you did a good job. Or should I just wing it?

what did you do with the seat you had on the bike before hand???? i like the single seat option.

building an F3 race bike myself and it would be a great help to see what mounting points you've used

 

Here in Ireland we have a Pre'97 class. Any 600cc or lower bike with the frame and engine that was made before 1997 is good. Most lads are using F3's. Alot of lads lap faster on F3's then lads on SuperSport600's, amazing.
Dont have the stearing damper yet but its on my list. Hade a few bad tank slappers but nothing extreme - just gas it.
