Cheers mate.
Been a bit of a **** day today
Get the bike in the garage, up on the axel stands. Remove the front wheel, no probs.
Drop the forks, no probs.
drain then remove the internals, seperate the forks and start to clean them.
Go to insert the new internals only to find they are about 3" shorten than my existing ones.
Im livid. They were advertised as fitting a cbr600f3/fs
So i have replaced the seals and bushes and im using the original internals.
Put the new bearings in the front wheel, twas a good idea putting them in the freezer when i got home form the boozer last night. they slipped right in with a bit of help from a lump of wood and a hammer.
So, im gonna send the internals back, and build the front end back up tomorrow when i get home from work.
/me heads off to ebay to file a dispute......
Peace out

When pouring in the new oil, the measured height of the oil level is more important than the number of ounces poured. Forks need a certain amount of air space in the fork since oil does not compress. The proper air space helps prevent fork seals from blowing out. Too much oil can blow the seals when landing wheelies or hitting very large bumps. Also remember to pump the damper rod up and down after adding about 1/3 of oil to bleed the air out of the lower part of the fork.
