well my blinkers are after market and have three wires? Also there are several write-ups on how to convert two-wire blinkers to three-wire.
I did that on my 06 RR when i put on some LED flushmounts. I just soldered diodes to each power wire, one for flasher and one for driving light. Just make sure the power is flowing in the right direction as they are one way (so they aren't both on at the same time).

Here is color codes on my 96.. Left side.
From bike = green -ground
Orange- switched power( blinker)
Orange/white-constant power( running light)
Right side= green-ground
Lightblue- switched power(blinker)
Lightblue/white- constant power(running light)
So there they are , just hook up ground to black and switched power to red on aftermarket blinkers without running lights. Remember a light tester is your best helper on finding power!!! Good luck!!
