I was thinking about putting a bid inon this bike. What do you think it is worth? Anything wrong with it from what you can tell? If you bought it what mods would you make to it?

Well my first guess is the bike has been layed down at one point since it has been painted. As far as a price I really don't know.

Already more than $1,800 right now. I'm with the poster above who says crashed. Who puts on new forks unless their were screwed up, or you are going to a newer model year. Plus, the cracked rear fairing and the chrome wheels make me think the bike was in a collision at some point. I could see painting black if you went with the chrome rims for looks, but that AND the new forks and cracked plastic makes you wonder.

 

I would look into why there are cracks in the plastic....since he said he never layed it down. I would say he still may get between $2500 - $3000 even with that mileage.

 

I wouldnt go more than 2,500. Looks like it is in pretty good shape. As long as everything runs fine. Fairing isnt that much to replace.

 

Any running bike in decent condition will usually bring about $2800-$3200 this one pretty decent. If its not far I'd go take a look at it.

Speaking from experience! I would be a little leary that he only wants cash or a certified check. Ask why he wont accept paypal. Maybe paypal would take too much out of the final selling price i dont know? Becareful it sucks to get ripped off!
