Here is my 97 F3 with a couple mods





Here it is before i changed the plastics, Back when it looked like a 10 year old bike

thanks man. I sold everything off the bike to pay for the work i put into it. I came out even. Remember on my for sale thread where i had those wheels, i had got the set i sold you so i could polish the lips but still match mine and not screw my originals up. then i came across some F4i plastics cheap and did the swap so I painted my stock wheels black. Did you get bearings yet and get them wheels on?

BTW all you F3 guys make sure you check out the Ride of the Month section and vote for your Fav. Specially if its mine LOL. been nominated 4 months in a row and i still haven't won, show some F3 pride fellas. and if you don't like mine bindels F2 is in there too to keep it in the F-family

Yes, I got bearings for the rear. Yes, I have a set of nice Pirelli Dragons to go on em. No, I haven't put them on yet cuz the yellow is going to turn into orange to match the Hong Kong Repsol fairings I got of ebay. Gotta wait for them to get here so I can match the orange up with them. Tank will get the orange too.

DF3, what kind of paint did you use on your wheels?

 

just regular ol car paint, same as what i painted the bike with. its holding up great. I did sand blast the wheels first. this was just a cheaper and quicker alternative to powder coating. id still recommend poweder coating. Im worried about them scratching the rims up while installing tires etc

 

i rereouted everything on the inside of the frame near the motor for it all to fit and look cleaner. I'll see if i have any pics of it stripped down

Now i think im going to paint it gloss black, no decals. if i cant find my stock color fairings by spring that is...




And now the aftermath...i need every fairing but the right side fairing...oh yea, and i need a new gas tank:

 

Here's my '97! I really need a slip-on bad!!!!

 

Here are a few pictures of my 97. Bought her with 1 mile and have since managed to rack up 47,000 on the clock. She still pulls as hard as the day I brought her home for the first time.
