possible ignition module problem
I was riding my bike and everything was fine.Next day i go to ride my bike and when i turned the key lights on like normal, push the start button-boom-i hear a click lights off,no power no start no nothing.I check the battery, everything good,i move the ignition module box and the lights pop right on,no problems.i start riding, gain some speed,a backfire then it shuts off.move the box up and right back on like nothing happened. Is that a sign of the box being bad or maybe so wiring is bad,or do i just need to zip tie it to the frame tighter so there is no free-play so it doesnt move
sounds like a break in a wire or bad connection somewhere.. not sure where. But maybe a more electrical orientated member can help you along abit.
I find moving the wires about 1 at a time usually helps to find a break. Then its just a matter of cutting the break out and ghetto it back together or use some sealed connectors
Good luck

i was riding again just now and it just did it.Soon as i touch the icm the lights come back on,so i would think its a electrical short some where.
will the icm going out cause the bike the backfire and shut off?

Yeah, could definitely cause it to backfire. If ignition is cut while bike is running, then comes back on, it would burn the excess fuel in combustion chamber and make it backfire. I used to do that all the time in my old Chevy pickup back in high school. Cut the key off, pump the pedal, then cut it back on...KABOOM!! I'd try the "wiggle one wire at a time" as suggested earlier.
The control module shouldn't make your light shut off though. Is it anywhere near your starter solenoid? If hot wire from the solenoid is loose or has a short that will make everything shut off like you described.
