Default PLEASE HELP!!!

OK I'm rebuilding my front shock...I removed everything including the dust ring but I cannot remove the fork tube from the slider!!So that means I cannot take out the oil seal...The book says the use quick successive motions to pull out the tube but it will not come out any help?? I have tonight to do this and then I wont be able to work on the bike for a few days please I need some friggin help here thanks

Stop treating it so gentle -- treat it like a slide hammer and it'll come out.

Thats what I've been doing....I just hooked two comealongs to each side of the shock and they still won't come out I literally pulled the shock with my truck and it wont come out...are my missing somthing here???I didn't bend the shock or anything but wtf???

Well I think i can help you. Most the time they come out after a few good slames back and forth. Once I had this problem. Get out the torch and give it a little heat around the end of the outer tube. It should come out now. You might have to buy a new bushing from slaming it so many time though...

Yea me and a friend where pulling that thing like crazy and pounding the thing back and forth trying to get it out. My dad come out and took the torch to the thing and it was like magic.... I should have thought of that. Then I read a thing in Dirt Rider that said you should take a small propane torch and heat it up before you even trying getting it apart.
