Hey all i am new to the world of motorcycles. I just bought a 1995 f3 and i have a question. I bought the bike a couple of days ago and it was running fine but today i went out to ride and the bike was running really ruff. It sounds almost like a dirt bike and has amost no acceleration. I am in dire need of some good advice. Some one told me it sounds like a choke issue but the thing is i have had two people tell me two different things about the choke position. The one said that when the control lever is pushed all the way forward (away from the arrow head) the choke is off and someone else tell me the exact oposite please help me.

the choke is "off" when its all the way to the top. it will have a kinda [/] icon on top (or something to that), this is off. when you push the lever down (tword the ground) the choke will be on.

 

something is clogged in ur fuel lines check ur spark plugs also

 

Sounds like a fouled plug. Pull them out and see what they look like. They will tell you everything you need to know.
