Hey guys

Just wondering if any of you guys carry a disc lock around on your daily commutes. Right now all i can think of is taking a backpack with me, but i was hoping you guys had some clever ideas

The CBR does lack space for carrying things [:@]
my disc lock came in a webbing carry case with a loop so you could thread a belt through it i carry mine on the little leather adjusting belt on my leater jacket

 

I carry a disc lock everywhere. But, mine came with a little pouch i attached to the rear pegs, but, mine is an F2, and, the peg setup is different.

What disc locks are you using? I purchased one that was supposed to be "universal" but it wouldn't fit my CBR right.

 

I just installed a trunk kit in my '97 F3 and it's the perfect place for locks. Check it out at http://www.targa-acc.com/cgi-bin/pro...2-151&format=3 Installation was fairly easy. My bike has a fender eliminator kit so I had to relocate the switch but that was no big deal.

Kind of curious about the Targa trunk kit. If anyone here has it installed, would you mind telling me how secure the finished product, "feels?"

I mean, does it feel like the seat is wobbling or really secure? Also, does it just work on the fact that the front of the seat has that tab that it slides under, or does it hinge the front? I was kind of hoping that the seat would just pull off completely once the switch was flipped with the conversion kit. I've just made the rear 3-piece section one solid piece and allowing the seat to remove BEFORE the fairings would be a BIG help...
