Well I just purchaced this bike a couple weeks ago for $1500. It was layed down on the left side. So the fairing was all scratched up. However they guy gave me new fairings along with it. I am getting them painted Flat Black w/a gunmetal metallic, and pry going to have a gray or gloss black graphics scheme. I send everything out for paint tomm so Im pretty happy.
So Far This Is What I have Got Done With The Bike:
I Tore The Whole Bike Down Checked Every Bearing And Cleaned Every Part Up Till The Front End Which I Still Have Yet To Do. I Polished Some Parts And Leaved Some The Brushed Alluminum Look So When I get The Bodywork Back There Will Be Some Nice Contrast. I Chopped The Exhaust About 4inches And Painted The Embklem A 2-Tone Flat/Semi Gloss Black. It Came With A K&N Air Filter And I Am Assuming It Was Jetted Cause It Runs Spot On No Hesitation Or Sputtering. I Changed The Oil And Put New Spark Pugs In It. We Had 50 degree Weather the last two days and I took It out and started right up no problem.
Anyhow I spent almost 40hrs so far just cleaning it but Im happy with my purchase. Im open to any suggestions or recomidations on anything I can Modify...Anyhow tell me how you think it is coming along!!!

"Looks good and clean. It's a shame about the dents in the left side of the tank, but not that noticable. What's the story on it ?"
It was dropped by previous owner but no worries that will be fixed before I get it all painted...Bike is pretty much flawless otherwise, and after it's done it will be mint..as long as I don't wreck lol

Looks great man. I have a 1996 F3 that had the exact paint design. But the previous owner rattle canned it black so I've been sanding all of that off. I also had to rebuild a good bit of the bike.
But working on these things is pretty fun though sometimes I want to chunk the bike into a wall.
