Default Picked on of these up.

Sort of new around here. Been mostly lurking and picking up information. Thank you all.

I picked up one of these last year.

Use it mostly for commuting. It's a '96 with 13000 miles. Cleaned it up. Made a few mods to it. Needed a new fuel pump. Put on a new manual chain tensioner. Flush mounted turn signals in the front. Integrated turn signals into the rear lights using a trailer adapter I had lying around. Put in a brake light flasher that flashes the brake light when initially pulled. Removed the fender. Made the seat movable without having to remove the tail plastic and bolts. It will need tires soon and am looking at the Shinko Ravens.

Thanks for the information.

Michelin pilot road 2. In my opinion, nothing rides like that tire.

youre going to get various suggestions for tires, but since you mostly just commute with it, the shinkos would work well.

Thanks wrx.

Believe it or not the prior owner had it down with what he claimed was a "driveway drop". Don't know many driveway drops that leave 4 inch long scratches and cracks in the fairing. I was able to patch things up and unless you are standing pretty close to it and really looking for the damage its kinda hard to spot. Thats part of the reason the stickers were mostly removed also. In a couple of spots they were a little shredded. The repairs saved me from having to get some replacement fairings from China.
