Default passenger handles

I'm looking for some idea's on fitting passenger handels onto my F-3. My lady doesn't like that strap and keeps sliding into me on stops. So, to make her happy, I'm looking for answers to fit my bike so she is happy. The VFR handles are nice and I could retro fit the subframe under the seat to make them work by building a plate but I'm still looking for some ideas.

Any thoughts or pic's

On UK spec bikes you get a grab handle as standard, you could probably buy one and retro fit it, if you buy the UK back plastic section you wouldn't even need to cut any holes.

New Ol' Lady? Just kidding. I always have that problem. Mainly because I'm 5'7" and I like to ride up close to my tank. I've just decided that I need to brace or scoot a little before I break. I like the feeling of her holding on so I'd rather have that than her holding on to something else. Good Luck!!!

Well the VFR handles went away. They were too expensive. 154 used on ebay. Jeeesuss. I got a one piece passenger handle off a 1100XX of the same year as my F3. I couldn't find the English version of the F3. I'm sure that would be a much swoopier fit. Any links to a site would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I think that your easiest route will be like madmike said, try and get your hands on a UK model grab-handle. My Repsol plastic (actually fiberglass) came with half-moons cut out where the handle is supposed to go. That made me go out an find a grab handle off Ebay for around $20. Never bolted it up yet, but all the holes are there for it.

the UK bikes are not called an F3, they are called FS, FT, FV and FW the second letter correlates to the models year, you might be better seeing if you can buy one from the UK and get it shipped to the US.
Not sure what year bike you have but check this one out.

Thanks for the information. I'm going to pick that up and bolt it on. Looks like it will directly fit on my 1995 CBR 600F3 without cutting the plastic. That would be nice! I'll repost once it's installed.

Thanks for the big assist!

I mounted the passenger handle from a 1100xx. Came out pretty good. I attached a pic. I had cut out too much of the plastic and I'll have to do some coverup but the brackets fit likea glove. I wasn't able to post them all. Files were too big.

Thanks for everyone's imput.
