Part missing need help !!
Sorry about last reply, but my neighbour was at the door, wots happened is that they have probably sold the unit with the wiring attached, not such a biggie, try wreckers, there should be some online to order from. that way it should not be such a hassle, the reg & wiring loom is common to a lot of Honda's (VFR's & so on).
So that can make it easier to track down, the wreckers here, charge about 50% of wot the original costs, plus they may sell it to you with the required wiring attached. You should put out an SOS on this site, maybe someone may have the wiring bits or point you in the right direction. Its a bummer when your so close & this sort of thing happens, but hang in there, it will be worth it.

a rectifier will run you about 35 to 90 bucks on ebay depends on what kind u buy . i replaced mines with a used stock one i got for 20 bucks no probs with it . i would go with a regular oem one on ebay there not to pricey .
