Unhappy no tail lights

I had the local honda shop replace my start/stop switch on my F3 and now I have no tail lights just brake lights. I had to ghetto in a led bar that m using for the tail light but it looks ghetto and I want to get rid of it. Any ideas on what this "honda factory trained service" idiot did? Ive tried to put a HOT wire to the sockets but both filaments keep lighting. I know I should have taken it back but it took them 2 weeks to get a simple switch on it. RTD in Springfield Illinois SUCKS ***!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd say check the wires in front of the bike where the start/stop switch is at. I'd complain to them about it though.

Get a manual. Check your fuses. Then get a multimeter and start checking your wires to find where you're not getting power. In that order.

All my fuses are good, it's not been blowing any. I figured it was somewhere up front but was hoping somebody knew what color wire to look for. I'm sure he just cut it putting in the switch. Should I start on the faring bracket or is it a constant from front signals to back? Is there any way to hot wire the tail lights and still have brake lights? I tried a hot to both leads of lamp sockets and both filaments light.

RTD got my money so they don't care about crap, I've bitched to everybody in the store and I don't think I'd trust em to do an oil change. RTD sucks

So no running lights correct? Are you using OEM tail light?

The tail light is a clear one but it's the same guts. There's no integrated signals or anything like that.
