Default no fire?

Hello, I have a 1997 honda cbr 600 with just under 10,000 miles. It had been sitting in storage for 2 years and won't start. I first drained all the gas and cleaned everything and put new plugs in. It acts kinda like it wants to start with the choke on and just a little throtle. After trying alot i decided to look to see if it's getting spark. I hooked a car timming light up, just thought it would be easy to see the light blink if there was spark. I sometimes have spark on one wire or maybe 2, but sometimes none at all. I checked for the 12 volts to the 4 wires at the coils and with the ignition on it does have 12 volts. I was thinking maybe the pulse thing went bad but i could measured resistance on it and came up with a number within the range i think it was like 480. I was thinking maybe it is the cdi box but can you test that or have any other suggestions?

thanks,
Chad

Turned out to be two of the spark plug wires were on wrong, #1 on 2 and #2 on 1, changed plugs and cleaned carbs and it's like a new bike. Thanks! I do have a extra cdi box now though, i guess ebay wil have to sell it for me.
