Default newbee needs advice :)

hi all,

i'm 20 and new to biking and have recently bought myself a honda cbr 600 1998.

i have already had my first accident, car pulled out in front of me, i hit the front brake which locked up and slid out, i then went sliding down the road, i am fine bar some grazes and concussion but the bike needs a some tlc.

so all advice is welcome please

basically i have ruined the right side of the bike, luckily the guy i bought it from gave me some spare side panels so thats all fine but i need...

-a new front fairing
-new wing mirrors
-new indictors

and i need them as cheap as possible,

any help

zach.

I hope you had all your protective gear on. I'm glad you're going to be ok. I think that your best bet is going to be ebay. If you don't have an account yet, create one. Then enter some searches and customize them until you get the results you're looking for, then save the search and have it emial you everytime something matches it. Stick with OEM pieces and get them painted if you have to. Good luck...

First tip of advice: Take a rider course. best money spent, ever.
second: Keep the rubber side down
Third: See if theres a cycle salvage yard somewhere near you, they may be a good source as well.
