Default This is where I’m at right now

Battery is good, fuses aren’t burnt, has fuel, yes I pressed the kill switch, fuel valve is on. I’m out of ideas

Asking this just to be sure. Are you aware of the side stand switch and how it functions?

Yeah I’ve tried starting it with and without the stand although I’m pretty sure you can start it with it down as long as it’s in neutral

Need 3 things for engine to run: air/compression, fuel & spark.

1. First thing is measure fuel-flow from petcock. Do this test and measure how much petrol you collect in 10-seconds. Can crank engine for 10-sec if don't have vacuum-tester.

I don’t have a vacuum tester so I’ll try cranking the engine. What should I be looking for? Do you think the engine is running too rich? It will pop and a flame will come out of the engine sounding kind of like a backfire every once in a while when I try to start it.

No idea, could too rich or too lean. Measure and let numbers do talking.

What should I be looking for when I crank it for the ten seconds? What would be the indicators?

Don't prejudice your testing. Measure volume of petrol collected in 10s and we go from there.

I've cranked it for ten seconds and it seems to be taking in gas which is good. I took out the gas filter which was a bit corroded but i ran gas through the inside once it was detached and it was flowing fine. Now for the fuel pump, the two wires running out of it, there is a green and a blue wire, the blue one is pretty chopped up and cut in one area but it seems that the previous owner twisted the two separations back together to gain the connection. I am unsure how strong that connection is so I am having a buddy come over tomorrow with a soldering kit to solder those together and ensure a good connection. Once again, I will try to be as clear as possible, there is (fresh) gas in the tank, checked all the fuses, the battery is charged, ground wires are tight and well connected, oil has been changed, petcock is on and yes i have tried the reserve tank, I've tried starting it with starter fluid, I cleaned out carb intake holes with a floral wire, I have tried messing around with the choke, and giving it a jump. Ill turn they key and the bike will get power, but when I hit the kill switch then ignition button the bike will just crank and crank but cant turn over or "catch". When we tried jumping the bike I could tell it really wanted to turn over (It was soooo close to idle) but something is stopping it. When i bought the bike it was running fine till I got a tow to bring it home and it fell on the bed of the tow truck. Ever since then it will just crank but wont catch. Does anyone have any solutions or an idea of the diagnostic??
