On Irving, right in the middle of the airport. I'm actually on the "new" Irving. Pretty cool. I head straight west outta there, though.

FYI for future reference for everyone else... doesn't seem like there's many people that actually help out here

that will walk you through testing and jumping the fuel relay.

So jumping the relay didnt resolve the issue, and I'm even more pissed off than ever. Although I replaced the pump, and jumped the relay, still no fire... what the hell I was further along yesterday when the bike died, at least then it fired up...

Maybe you should give us more than 90 minutes to come up with a response before you snap at us for not helping. 48 hours is generally appropriate. We don't stare at this forum 8 hours a day waiting for someone to ask for help; we just drop in a line when we happen to be here. It's how forums work.

I got my carbs a little early, they finished them today

Damnit, still not firing, what the ****...

Checked all spark plugs, cleaned them off and sanded down a little
Checked plugs and verified spark
Gas is getting to carbs - I can train each float and it has gas

Only thing I can figure now is maybe no air? the dyno jet kits require a specific way to connect the air flow, I wonder if I screwed it up.... any help anyone?

I'm not even getting the gasp or anything from exhaust...

Hmm ok first off before spending any more money on the bike do some easy checks.
1st off pull a plug wire out and stuff a screwdriver in the end, hold it very close to a clean unpainted spot on the bike and check for an arc. they make fancy testers or you could get a "not so smart" friend to hold onto it lol. This will tell you if you have spark.

If you have spark move to the next easy thing. Adjusting the idle. Sounds goofy but plays big part when cleaning the carbs. When i cleaned mine i wasnt thinking and took out the adjuster because it kept flopping around in the washer. When i went to start the bike it wouldnt do anything. i had to crank it and slowly turn the idle up until i heard it fire for a sec then i knew i was close.

Next thing may be a bit harder to do but off chance check to see if your timing chain is still there and not broken lol. Ive personally never heard of one breaking on a bike before but ive had quite a few break on race cars so.

OH and dont pull a me, Make sure the switch on onto the RUN position...... yes i spent like an hour trying to get the bike to run when my friend came up and flipped the switch to on keep us posted and maybe we can get the beast going

Sparks are there, I had an extra sparkplug from a different bike and checked each cable to verify sparking and rching, plugs and cables are new

I add throttle, and i also have tested from different positions on choke

what are you reverring to timing? cct?

thanks for the response, anything else I can check? Im wondering if i got the air tubes connected right, since the dyno jets require you to remove some tubes, I dunno if I actually connected everything correctly

Not the timing as far as ignition or cct. Just to check and make sure your chain is good and not broke. I highly doubt it is but you never know. I was only refering to this because you said you had nothing no flow out of the exhaust. If the chain broke your cams wont move nor valves open and no flow plus the bike would be grinding up the chain which wouldnt be pretty. But i HIGHLY doubt thats the problem.

As for the air tubes, they shouldnt keep it from starting. It wont run good down the street if there incorrect but it will still start.

Gotta be directly related to those carbs. Now when you put the carbs back on was the fuel pump ever primed to fill up the bowls? When i rebuilt mine i jumped the fuel pump for a few seconds to fill up the bowls with gas before i cranked it since our fuel pumps dont turn on when you first put the key in like the newer FI bikes. Ive been through 3 sets of carbs so lol and taken mine off oh about 10 times......
