need some tips please
hey, thanks for taking the time to read. I am looking to make my bike faster. I have a 1998 CBR 600 f3, i am looking to make it go faster. what are something that i can do too it. I just had the 12,000 mile service done, got new brakes new tires, sprocket, and chain. i know that doesn't help with power. but what else can i do too it?
thanks for your time!
thanks for your time!
First thing that comes to mind is make sure everything is fresh. Fresh oil, fresh plugs, clean and synced carbs ect. Next I would say K&N filter, slip-on, jet kit, ignition advancer...
speaking of ignition advancers (sorry for thread hijacking) When i got the bike in many pieces i found one in a coffee can. By the looks of it looks like the one sold on CBRZONE.com I believe it is the adjustable unit. How are they beneficial to our engines?
fastest and most common way is drop the front sprocket by a certain number of teeth, it's 15 stock, and add teeth to the back sprocket, it's 43 stock, most common config is -1/+2
thanks. i just did i oil change and air filter change. but not spark plugs. you have idea on what are some good ones to get? I am looking into a K&n air filter. the sprockets are brand new but sock. thanks for you time once again!
