Default Need some race kit install help

I purchased a race bodykit from Airtech of California. Its a smokin Joe race replica kit. The whole kit is Molded fiberglass with the tabs not cut out yet. The taillight is not cut out yet nor are any fasteners installed. I need to dry fit this kit with the dzus fasteners before I paint them. My question is how many do I need, what sizes, and what do I use to cut the taillight mold to fit the taillight ? Im a new member and really need some help. My email is the best way to reply.

My bike is a 97 cbr600f3

website where i purchased kit:

kit # 4cbr6sjr
tail upgrade for 97 cbr600f3 is :
4cbr69s

Any information on where I can get the fasteners or install would be awesome. Everyone who I asked including some Honda dealers just blew me off. Thanks alot guyz

well race plastics are a bitch , its basically a guessing game , just take your time , u will need 6 dzus fastners , 3 for each side to hold the bottom pan on, when i put my race set on i started with the upper fairing mounts first got those holes right and went from there on lineing everything up, its a pain thats for sure, and with the tail section , i would just take it to a bodyshop and have them cut the taillight for u , my bikes a strictly race bike so i dont know much about cutting lights in but i do know u only get one shot to get it right.Name: ryder.jpg

theres a photo of mine with race bodywork if that helps at all
u can get the dzus fastners off ebay for 20 bucks
and for the rest of the mounting bolts just go to home depot and get some bolts with alan heads and washers , take your stock mounting bolts to match the size
