need a shorter rear shock... any thoughts?

well, its not buying a "new" shock, but a different shock that has a shorter eye to eye.

I have some pretty specific tollerences I want to maintain, and because I have changed the mounting point for the pivot link, its throwing my measurements off.

Its either I ride it high with the chain riding the rubber guard, or i drop it down a bit.

I had thought about mounting the shock right to the shock mount, but I was not sure how well that would perform.

Have you sat on the bike yet and looked at the chain? My chain rests on the swinger of my F4 and my M2....neither rub when I'm sitting on them though....
