Need Rim Help
 

So I am getting my rims powder coated so i had to get the weights, bairings and tire taken off and when i got home I noticed that this was still on the rim. The first two picts of what is still on the rim and the last pic is the other side of the rim and how I think the other side should look like. i need to know if I should take it off, powder coating gets to 400 degrees so I am afraid it might melt and I am also afraid that it might get ****ed up if it gets powder coated. So please help

That part is press fit on the wheel and should not be removed. Just have the powder coater mask it of so it's not coated. It will be fine during the process. Make sure you post up photo's after they're done. I'd like to see how they turn out.

You shouldn't have to ask them to do that, they should do it automatically. However, best you mention it and have the tell you they do it as opposed to not mentioning it and they don't. It's always nice to cover all bases up front, then there's no question as to what was supposed to happen. Are you going to leave the polished edge on the rim or make it all black like factory again ?

they will put silicone plugs in the bolt holes. and high temp tape on the surfaces that do not get coated.
