Default Need help removing carbs

I cannot find the band screws to loosen the insulator bands so I can take off my carbs, I do not want to end up loosening something else, otherwise I know I could really mess things up.

You need a flashlight to be able to see them. The one's you're loosening are the ones closest to the head. The boots come off with the carbs. The screw heads are located on the bottom side and are positioned such that your screwdriver is pointed upward at an angle, sort of like towards 2 o'clock. For the right side carbs, you have to remove the right side engine hanger bracket (don't worry the engine won't fall down).

You mean the boots? Heh, trust me they're in there. You may have to come at them from odd angles on the bike to hit the screws. A telescoping mirror is a great tool to have so you can see where you're aiming for.

Last time I did mine I made sure to put the bands on so they can all be hit from the left hand side with varying length screwdrivers.
