Default Need help with my "New" F3

Greetings:

About 3 weeks ago I bought a 98 F3 for $2300. It is in pretty good shape (never laid down, some small plastic cracks) and has about 10,000 miles on it. It is my first sport bike and has been a blast to ride. It is completely stock with the exception of a Yoshi slip on and new tires.

I would like to do some performance mods but am unsure where to start. Any suggestions? I am not a speed demon and do mostly in town driving. Are there any sites that offer good modifications? I have a long winter in North Dakota to spend time playing. Thanks,

Steve

K&N air filter, re-jet the carbs. Ignition advancer, new plugs. Try CBR zone for stuff.

I'm assuming you have an ignition advance and if so what do you guys set yours at? Mine it currently about 4 degrees. Any opinions?

Sorry to Hijack your thread!! I've heard changing the sprockets is a way to go also. If your looking for more acceleration at this. They saythe difference is night and day!! I believe the common setup is 2 down in the back 1 up in the front!!
