Need help figuring out the crankcase sets on 95 CBR600 F3
So I recently have been rebuilding my 95 CBR600 F3 motor due to me wrecking it awhile back. I am unsure how to seal the crankcase sets together. What I’ve seen is just to use RTV but that doesn’t seem like enough. Just needing some answers so I can get the motor back together and the bike back up and running. Thank you!
Yeah, don't use RTV silicone, it's not gas/oil resistant and will swell up and bulge out, letting innards escape. Don't believe their marketing or labels.
Use something specifically designed for cases. I like Toyota FIPG material, or Hondabond 4, or Yamabond-4 (not Yamabond-5, which is silicone and won't work).
