Well the bike had no mods at all and I didn't see any signs of racing (drilled holes through oil plug and stuff) Also for the most part I ddin't notice any loose parts.
The only real red flag was I noticed a burnout mark (brakestand) directly under the bike on his front porch. It did match the bike so I don't believe his (it was babied) claim completely.
My Ninja 250r was great. By far the easiest bike to toss around. It may not have a lot of get up and go but it was insanely fun to ride. It was even comfortable at hwy speeds too.

yeah try to stay away from anything over 3grand for f3 personally i would add a little extra n get a newer bike . but it all depends cant really say the priceof the bike without a visual ,alot goes into bike sales with location luck and how bad the person wants to sell the bike . but as said around 2500 is resonable cause most likely you will drop about 500 into it being the tires are no good tune up to know whats been done from the time of u gettin the bike n little nick nacks you may have to buy
