My new 98 f3. With rr tail
Very cool, Love the erion colors too
I say put some fresh rubber on it (interesting tire already on there) and leave it, if you want to stretch and lower it and don't regularly frequent a drag strip, get a cruiser.

Great looking bike. Love the Erion paint scheme. Stretched and slammed, not so great looking. IMO. I see a cruiser in the back. Isnt it stretched and slammed enough? Maybe its not yours.
Agreed Frank, I've seen these bikes stretched and to me its a bad look. That being said its just an opinion and if you like it that's cool. The tail on that bike is sick! The previous owner did a great job with it.
yeah I wasn't to keen on the stretched part but a local bike shop gave me a good deal on stretching it and lowering it, ($300) I do want to lower it though, what's you guys thoughts on that? this is my second bike, my first bike was an fzr 600r genesis, bike was ok but I kept having issues with it, so I sold it and bought this f3 for a really good price that I couldn't past up, and I just love it,
I guess it depends on what kind of riding you do. If you like to hit the twisties and maybe do a few track days, then leave it alone. But if you just like to cruise through town so people can see how cool you are, then by all means, stretch and lower it. Even spend hundreds on a bunch of chrome stuff. Spiked bar ends and all. To each their own. But I would leave it alone besides some good stock size tires to do some knee draggin, THE WAY THE BIKE WAS INTENDED TO BE RIDDEN! I seen your new to the forum. Welcome. Also this is just my opinion, so dont get upset, I'm sure I'm just saying what most of us performance oriented riders would say.

If you want to do stuff to make the bike better, you could get your shock revalved and respring your suspension for your weight, swap to a radial master cylinder with SS brake lines, put some fresh rubber on it and fresh fluids throughout. The bike will feel great and it will be fitted to your body! If you do lower it you will need to lower the front end to match the rear so the bike's geometry remains the same. Other than a good deal what made you want to stretch the bike? Maybe that will give you the answer you are looking for on what to do.
I'm not upset I can't get upset. I asked for opinions and I got it. I'm still in the learning process of this fine machine. I mostly ride on the back roads and in city. No drag racing for me for a while until I get really comfortable. Thanks for info guys. Anything else I need to know?
