Thumbs down My F3 just started running ****ty....Then Died...Now won't start

My 95 F3 started running real rough then died.....It felt like it was running on 2 cylinders....Or the timing was off.....Sounded like a v-twin.....I check for spark on 3 out of 4 plugs, all were good or atleast had spark....The fuel is getting there I can see it sprayin out the jets....I think its a short or something electrical....???

Has anyone had similar probs??....Or have any idea whats going on with my CBR???

If you have gas and spark, then your problem is air or compression.

What exactly happens when you attempt to start it?

I it happened all of a sudden while you were riding, I'll bet you blew out a gasket or seal, or had something get in the way of airflow into the carbs. I'd take them out, and throw compresse air through the lines, and clean the carbs while you're in there. You'll be able to do a more thorough inspection of everythign whiel you have all that out, anyway.

These are also regulator/rectifier issues also.

But doing it this way (on the net) is like giving a haircut over the phone.

Check battry voltage,holla back.

The little brass things inside the carb.....I pulled the air filter off and looked down the stacks...

What does the regulator/rectifier do???

This sounds like a typical Reg problem (regulates the current to the rest of the bike, from the alt) There is a lot of info here on this topic, bikes running fine, then won't start or runs like crap, fault is intermittent, when the bike cools, runs fine, the same scenario. Finally your battery dies & even with a bump start, your bike runs RS.
The reg overheats & causes problems, you need to run a voltage check on it while the bike is hot to get a good reading. The Reg's are the CBR's Achilles heal.
Whoops, sure read the post before going off, recharge your battery, if the bike starts up & runs fine, then fer sure its the reg.
