Default RE: My doctor says its a chronic condition. No more long distance ridding for me

I would find another neuosurgeon!

I have had a lumbar discectomy and a re lumbar discectomy and still have numbness down my left leg, been to 4 neuros since second surg and all 4 have different plans to line their pockets with my money.

look into getting an epidural to reduce the swelling in the nerve or a nerve block injection both worked for me but only for a few months at a time, I get 1 in May and July so I can ride in the summer with less pain.

I removed the clip ons on my F3 and installed handle bar risers and a set of fat bars to raise the riding position on the F3 and IMO was the best mod made on this ride, the bike has a sport touring riding position now and allows me to run the twisties all day with minimal pain.

PM me if you have questions on back surgery or the riser mod.
