Default My Cbr f3 Project (opinions appreciated)

Here it is, it has begun, this is my 1995 honda cbr f3. K&N and shorty pipe. Im going to take a hint from Ballsdropped 's f3 and make a belly pan of sorts.

I plan on sanding off the fairings and possibly matching the red and getting honda sticker for the bottom, either that or doing red on black. Let me know what you think... I know black its going to be the popular answer but I dont care how street it looks as long as my bike looks cool.

Let me know what color scheme you think would be better and any other ideas would be great. I know the headlight is ulgy as hell, thats the next step in this project

on your tail you are going to need to change it up when you get your seat. A bracket about two inches is needed to mount it. Take a look at turbo's f3 and you will see the tail bracket he made. that is what I am going to have to do to mine.

Ehh im going to keep that tail for the time being unless I come across a cheap new tail with both the seats.

I have the same tail. What I am saying is if you buy the 600RR seat you will need to get a bracket to mount the front to the frame.

So are you going to do a full fairing bike, streetfighter, or something like the YZF???

Im thinking something street fightered out, i cant do full fairings cuz the frame part that the mirrors attach to are bent from a crash so yeaaaaaa and this is cheaper and more original. What about a YZF? I kinda was going for a sorta belly pan. This was my inspiration off of the customfighters.com site

I can always cut my fairings down even more but we'll see how it looks once i paint it up, im porably going to go with red, I found a pretty good spray paint match at the home depot today, I just need to get to sanding before I prime it.

I want to know what type of bracket that guy has for the muffler. Mine attaches to the rear pegs and would love to remove them

Did WORK today on my bike, Sanded primed and painted the belly pan fairings. Took all day and about 20 bucks but I think it should turn out all right. The paint doesnt exactly match up but its ok with me for now. I can always go all black.

I also attached a f4i front fender to my bike. Had to do some heavy modifying and dremmeling but i got it done. It was quite the pain in the ***. Looks fine, sorta serves a purpose.

tomorrow ill mount them up possibly make a f4i gauge bracket out of some sheet metal using tin snips. im told it can be done and it wont look too bad...

I'll be interested to see how your gauge conversion works out. I've seen others and have been considering that, but trying to keep my cost down.
