My bike / buildthread... from Sweden
On Septembre 1st 2013 i shattered my pelvis in a massive mountainbike downhill-run, after 3 weeks in the hospital i got home..
realized after a few Days that id never be able to drive my 700bhp driftcar again to the limits i was used to, so decided to sell it.
(wont be able to climb into the car through the rollcage again)
So just 6 weeks after my accident i bought an 1995 F3
So, the car is on sale, the new motorcycle is in a buddy´s garage over the Winter,,, just last saturday i sat on it for the very first time, quite a nice feeling that was..
But I simply cannot leave vehicle-racing (cars & bikes) alone.. so with the car out of the question, i deceided to go a bit different.
every year since -09 there has been the equivalent of Bonneville Speedweek in Sweden, but on I C E :-)
This is where im going next year, the bike is going to get som surgery..
CBR125 narrow Wheels, handmade iceracingtires, tuned Engine with the following parts:
skimmed & raceported head,
HRC ECU
HRC cams
HRC Advance Unit
Dynojet carb-kit
We will be looking for 125bhp
Im also hoping for about 245-250 kmh on the ice.
Also a few Days ago i bought an sparepartsbike, an 1996 CBR600 F3 with an Engine that has only done 22000kms, the current Engine has done 77000kms.
In a Little while i´ll be plastidiping the entire bike in camoflage-look. even the rims.
Miniature indicators are waiting on the shelf in the garage, together with some "odd" lokking tires :-)
CBR600 F3 1995 77000kms)
Engine CBR600 F3 1996 (just (22000kms)
will update shortly / Kristian

HI. My friend where the bike is garaged had the cams. brand new since 1996 :-)
Advance unit is on EBAY.. either HRC or Vance & Hines
The ECU is avaliable in the US from the US HRC "center"

Advance unit? To advance the ignition? Dont advance the ignition and use the cdi unit
Hrc cams are a bonus on the spare motor put the inlet that you removed off the engine with hrc cams and put it on the outlet
125bhp im sorry but you wont achieve 125bhp even tony scott only promises 115bhp out of his and he is king
Also you wont get past 105bhp withouta full race system
Sorry if i sound like an *** but i know what im doing and saying
Lighten it up and only push 110bhp
Make sure you do a full suspension revamp
And have a gander at my thread there may be something useful on there

Jackojeff: Thanxs a lot for the kind advice.
125 is the goal. Im not doing any tuning, just buying the parts. my friend own a biketuning-shop with DynoJet rollers, he will be doing all the tuing.
Just so i understand you correctly. youré saying that i shall use the intake-cams on one engine & the HRC-cams on the other ?
Are both intake & exhaust cams from HRC "better" than the stock intake ?
Yes.. ECU is the same as CDI to me, in a car its called ECU & im used to cars :-)
Im really looking a true high topspeed on ice, but the rollingresistance (is that the word) is very very high on ic3 with spikes. But, CuldCutters wont work, they dont cope with such speeds at all.
A stock 180hp GSXR1000 just did220kmh last week testing, with 30mm spikes.
But he uses stock wheelsizes, i do think its waaay to wide for ice, there is a reason that rally cars only use 110-145wide snowtires for better grip. thats why im going for the cbr125 wheels :-)
