When I cut the fender off I also had to leave that part just below the taillight where the reflector goes... right where the plate is bolted. I want to cut that part off but if I do that it will cut a hole where all the wires are and then the wire will be visible. Unless I make something to go over it.

 

The bracket I made bolted to the same spot where the plate is bolted now, and basically went up, and then out and down, and then the plate bolted to it. I'd take more pics, but my bike is still in storage.. I'll get new pics soon..
