Default Muffler slip on help

Hey guys, few months ago I got a 96 f3 with 24k miles. The guy I got it from didn't have the tip the muffler and he never gave me the baffle and I no longer have his number so I'm SOL. It's a Vance and Hines and I was going to just order a new baffle and tip, however the tip was out of stock so I just went and order an OEM muffler from eBay. Come to find when trying to put it on I must have an aftermarket header cause it doesn't fit there's a good 3 inches of more pipe I'd need for it to fit. I don't know realy anything about bikes, can I get any aftermarket muffler system and it will fit? I don't think the header Vance and Hines cause the way mine looks are lil diff style then what the Vance ones look like but I could be wrong. Or is there a way I can make this OEM one fit or am I screwed. I'd like to fix this ASAP seeing as it sound like a frakinf lawn mower.

You could get the OEM manifold. There are some on ebay right now for like $50 shipped

That's what I was thinking and saw, I geuss I don't have too many options. Buy an OEM manifold or a diff aftermarket muffler system.

Take it to a muffler shop and have them roll/cut you a mid-pipe, to give it the extra length.
Or check the local auto store for (if you're lucky) a pre-made fitment or a piece
of flex and some muffler tape/clamps, that you can fill in with.

Good luck, Ern
