Default missing a tooth.........

ok so today there i was smoking with the wife and i look over and see that i am missing a tooth on the rear. my question is how long can i keep rideing on this. the bike is my only form of trasportation sence my wife needs the car. i get payed on the 15th and after that i will get a new chain and everything that goes with it ( sweet a reason to get the 520 converstion ). so you think it can last about 3 weeks or so? thanks guys.
