Default Missing fuel component???

Hello,

I have a 97 F3 - went away for a couple weeks over Christmas and when I got back, turned the fuel switch on and had fuel pouring out onto the ground. Removed the left hand faring to find two hoses that aren't connected to anything. The fuel flows out of the bottom hose when the fuel switch is on. Just behind the hoses is a bracket that seems to have a component missing - see pics for probably a better idea of what I'm talking about. What goes here??? I can't find any lose hoses that would connect to these ones.

The left faring was a little loose when I got back, so it all seems a bit dodgy - ie somebody may have stolen something from my bike....?

Anybody know what these hoses connect to??

Thanks....

Ah yep, though it may be something like that. Damn! Who goes to that effort for a fuel pump??!!

Haven't got a full pick with me at the mo - will post later though.

Yep you're right, it's pretty funny. No idea how much a new pump will cost, so I may not be laughing quite so much if it's expensive.

I've only seen another couple f3's in these colours, so maybe it wasn't so popular or so many produced.... ?

Excellent schematics on that site. The price isn't too bad either, although I'm sure I'll have to double it for Aust.
