tank does have the signiture on it. and the vin sticker does say 600 se. The reason the swing arm was replaced was mainly do to a baddddddd scrape he still as the swing arm in his garage. older italian guy and like my dad and grand father never throws anything away. i got the bike at a very good price and with some hard work and sweat im trying to make this bike the legend it was when it first came out. the tank looked like it was re cleared and a very bad job was done at that Thank god im in the auto refinishing biz and can get this to match properly with a little wet sanding and a re clear. and trying not to scrape down the sticker. i didnt need to replace the whole tranny just the shift barrel but got a great price on a whole tranny so if i have it all stripped down anyways i just replaced the whole thing. i like to think of it as a preventitive measure. I can see how some people would be sceptical of the bike but seeing it up close and not over the internet it still is a very nice bike....

It sounds like it was rear-ended.. HARD.. and that's why it was dropped... [:'(]

That's my opinion.

Well..not using rocket science here! The tank is a repaint, not having the "Rider`s Club of America" under the Honda wing. Too un original as a true example. I paid $2700 Canadian this past August 08.
