you can tell its not a 98 SE by the font on the tail section....and the obvious holes for the euro fairings....

i had a 98and it had the purple rear wheel. i had never seen a white rear wheel. you may want to have your vin checked cause that is a fake.

It's suspect and I don't believe that's a true smokin joe. Does the VIN have 250 or 253 in it? The paint doesn't match the tank, the stickers are non-existant on the swingarm, lower fairings, etc.

Should look a little more like this (this is a 98):

Name: Sexy_Bitch_Resize.jpg
Views: 15
Size: 99.2 KB

BTW: I need to really get some new pics up. The bike has been done about a week now and has 500 more miles than it did when I got it, yet I can' snap a new picture? Pathetic! hahaha

IMHO, replacing the wheel, swingarm and rear plastics isn't indicative of a a simple drop. That's an awful lot of damage for what is made to sound like it simply fell over. I mean no offense, but that's what I picked up from the tid-bit of info supplied. Considering you never even knew the bike had been repaired to such extent, you might want to call back the previous owner again and ask for more details on the incident.

simple check...your vin sticker should have a CBR600SE

and the tank should have an autograph on it, and it should match the fairings correctly[&:]
