Damn man....that's what we all fear...just out of the blue...stupid kid/driver. Though it's tough to replace a smokin Joe, hope insurance will compensate you. Heal up soon.....

shees, man that's just so very wrong... How can an insurance have a top limit of what they cover? That's just f*ed up, if your costs go over that it's up your own a**? Won't the kid have to pay for the rest? Naturally he doesn't have that kind of money but at least here the social security pays for the rest and get back what they can from the kid...

Your insurance should cover most of the rest, right? I know I'm insured for uninsured/underinsured motorists.

you should talk to your insurance and they should sue the other insurance company. they have to pay for the other person its the one who has the insurance that has a limit on them (at least it is in NC). get better soon! I have a smokin Joe also. was there anything left? just woundering.

17? His parents are financially responsible. Meaning to recover your losses, they lose their house / car / bank accounts etc.

Talk to a lawyer.

You're thinking the wrong type of insurance. You shouldn't be riding without medical insurance
