Default Kick Stand kill switch?

How do I disable my kick stand kill switch on a 97 F3? I cant start my bike with the stand down, and once it is started, it shuts off as soon as i put it down. Its not terrible but i would like to be able to start my bike and let it warm up with out having to sit on it or hold it up.

Has anyone done this before?

if i rember right ,connect the Green/White and the Green wires together and Just tape up the Yellow/Black wire. yellow/black wire is for your stand light on your cluster.

^^ the post ***** is correct.
Remember that one day you might want to sell that bike some day and the next buyer might not like that you did that so try and do it in a place where you can easily splice it all back together... (under the tail if it leads to there, I don't know the wiring on F3s)

Can't bike warm up in neutral??? That's what it's meant for...last thing you want is to start engine in gear w/o gripping the clutch...jumped & lay down...it does happen.

I believe the clutch switch is what does not allow the bike to be started in gear with the clutch out. If you pull in the clutch it should start. Also it should start with the kickstand down in neutral. The second you put it in gear with the kickstand down it should quit running.

I wish this was true, but my bike will not even turn over unless the kick stand is up and clutch pulled in. Once it is started (in neutral) when i put the kick stand down, it shuts off. If the kickstand is down, it won't run.

That's wierd, something is bolluxed there. It should start and run in neutral,
regardless of kickstand position. I don't need to pull the clutch in, unless the
bike is NOT in neutral to turn it over. I'm guessing the neutral switch is the
issue, instead of the side-stand switch.
