Default Just wow

After a year or so on the old GZ250 (Where 'short shifting' wasn't really possible due to lack of power and lousy gearing) I found out today that I've really been short shifting the F3 I got a month or so ago.

Coming back from lunch, I turned out of the neighborhood, and decided to play around above 5,000 RPM, where I usually don't get to, lazily upshifting and keeping things around 4K-5K RPMS when riding it. I ran it up to around 7K or so before upshifting (Only got to 3rd gear this way before I hit 45). Damn, these things have some serious ***** the higher you get into the pwerband, huh?

I guess that all the fun starts to happen above 5-6K.

That's all, just realizing what I'd been missing before coming over to sportbikes.

Lol on street riding, really don't have much choice but to short shift. Stop signs every block in south Philly means I can barely get out of 1st.
