Just a thought
Ok, so I have bought my f3 about 2 months ago, and so far it has been a nightmare trying to get the carbs lined out.. I took them apart cleaned them, I have rejeted them, I have tuned and synced them till I've been drove insane. So It hit me last night as I was half asleep and I got to thinking, my jet's came when I got the bike a size smaller than factory. Mine are 134/136 and suppose to be stock 135/138. I remember reading along time ago that alot of people drop the jet size's when they do a big bore kit, The guy I got it from didn't mention it, and I'd say he wouldn't know either, since he only had it a few months himself...
Is there any easy way to test and see if I in fact do have a big bore kit without tearing the motor all the way down?
I need to find out so I can stop trying to set it to stock and start setting it for the mods if it does have one, I do know for a fact I had a f3 some years ago, and this one seems to be WAY faster, and I can run dead even to a friends 08 R6, which I shouldn't be able to do.
