Default Just some random ?'s

Hey guys im pretty new to this sight and new to my 98 f3. Bought it about 3 weeks ago and have been riding it alot! Put over 1200miles on it already.

Anyways had a few quick questions about them,
My bike has the Michelin Pilot Sports both front and back, wondering what psi you guys run on the street? on the track?

Also the PO was a bit not as **** as me and didnt clean the bike too often. The chain is grimey and makes some noise, whats the best way of cleaning it with it still on the bike?

Thanks

If the chain is reallllllly bad:
Support the bike, remove the rear wheel, dangle the chain down into some kerosene and scrub with a nylon brush. do this to the whole chain. then dry it off and replace rear wheel then go for a 5 min ride to warm the chain up then lube the chain well. Since the rear wheel is off the bike clean the sprocket very well also.

If it is not to bad or you dont want to do the above just use a nylon brush and a chemical/degreaser on each section of the chain. Everyone has thier own thought on what to use and a cleaner and lube. I like to use simple green and repsol chain lube.

Ain't that the truth. I like to use Brakleen on freakin' everything. It removes grease and grime from anything, won't hurt your paint, and leaves no residue. Dry cleaners used to use it back in the day until they discovered it'll give you skin cancer. My dad still uses it to clean his old work clothes, anyway.

I used Simple green at work to clean off a lot of the old stuff we get in from the GM plants, and it does a decent job. I'd still take my brakleen over it, though.
