Just got my bike back from the mechanic...
Search this forum for tensioner. Cct is short for cam chain tensioner. Its a notorius fail point on hondas in general. Simple $50 fix if you diy. But try to be reaso ably sure it is the cct.
Hence all the questions bout rpm, where and runni g temp when you hear the noise

Good info everyone I'm going to drop it back off to the mechanic and have him check all that. Also o e of the aircraft mechanics here told me maybe it got bad spark plugs from the factory also said check the timing. He seems to think it's not with the carbs because 1-4 runs fine. Will keep updated with what happens
What the hell are people drinking where you are? Bad spark plugs from the factory and timing? I can see why you're making 37 trips to and from the shop based on what I'm reading.
The thing's got 34,000 miles on it and likely need some basic maintenance. The solution is very simple, get a fuel pump, check for a pinched fuel line while you're in there, get a set of new plugs and possibly look into replacing the cam chain tensioner.
Anything outside of that is more or less optional, the jet kit for example, is not the reason your bike is falling down like it is in the upper rev range.
You are talking to too many mechanics who are all giving their opinions and it's getting you to over-think what is quite possibly the easiest repair and maintenance service.
Start with the simple stuff first, get a fuel pump and a set of plugs. Check for a pinched fuel line THEN move forward if there are no improvements.

These bikes won't go 90+ in 4-6th gear unless you have a fuel pump. The bike needs about 2-4 psi extra,'cause the ram air will dry out the float bowls.
Post up a youtube video and give us a link to it.Trying to describe what's going on over the web is like trying to give a haircut over the phone.
CCT is a common thing with all CBRs.It's a 20 minute,$50 fix.And you won't have to buy another one.

The dealership ordered the part and gasket said it will be in Thursday. Probably do that and the fuel pump myself.
Bad news is I broke my wrist last night non bike related and I have to wait till Monday to see what they say about the xrays.
