I was looking at these mighty hard myself. But the things that stopped me were
  1. Huge price tag
  2. Hong Kong
They look good but the prices were way too much. And I am extremely wary of an overseas supplier for anything. If I'm going to drop $600, I want the ability to walk into your store and ask "WTF?". Plus something I didn't like, that set off quiet alarm bells: people on ebay selling similiar products for half the cost until I read about the shipping cost. Charging $299 and then saying shipping is $299 so their price seems less raised suspicions.

Sorry, I'd rather risk my OE fairings with a paint gun in MY hand. Least if I screw up, I learn and can try again.

I would not suggest dynamat for three reasons

1. It is not designed to dissipate heat
2. It is heavy
3. It is expensive

I have a set of the Repsol style Hong Kong fairings. They didn't come with any heat protection either. I bought some heat tape from Autozone that has done the trick. I suggest doing the same, it is designed to dissipate heat, it's light weight, and it was only 20-30 dollars.
