bike looks good.

I install the ballast (for HID) to my bike under the fuse box, behind the fairing, attached (multiple zip ties) to the frame, right at the radiator. I dont have any pics and the bike isnt with me at the moment, but it worked great.

HID kit would be kind of a pain in the *** to install, there's isn't much room to mount anything behind the fairing. It could probably be done though, just gotta mount most of the stuff to the frame. Full exhaust system? Kneedraggers sells a D&D system for $463, but that brand is junk. Any other options are $750 or more. The flushmounts are universal, and you'll probalby have to cut your fairings to make them fit.

You could run the stock tailight housing and just get some electronic thing that'll convert it to an integrated tailight...although you should know that stuff isn't exactly legal, and you might as well not have turn signals at all cuz no one will know wtf you're planning on doing cuz they won't see your turn signal.

Don't know about fluids, but i think mine just has some automotive stuff forgot the brand. As for oil, i'm just running mobil clean 5000 10w40 with a k&n oil filter. Other people insist on running strictly motorcycle specific oil, all depends on your philosophy, but I paid just under $30 for the oil and filter change.
Do like I done make some custom front signals to fit the openings in your fairing. As for the "legality" of not having or not seeing your signals, check with your state. In Alabama turn signals are not required so there may be differences from state to state.

OEM on the oil filter. The aftermarket ones skimp on paper.
I'm not sure I agree with your comment on aftermarket filters. The Puralator Pure One PL14610 is too long to fit the F3's (very close proximity to the exhaust header), but the PL14612 fits just fine, it's about 1/2" shorter.

Have a look at the rear tail section and see if you can get it aligned better, and check the brake pads to make sure they still have meat on them.

A little advice on the tail. The three piece tail end will come apart or doesn't exactly close up where they come together in the back. They will also some times seperate after hitting a good bump in the road. To solve this, I just bent up the mounting tab on the frame a little. I had to do it a little at a time to make sure that I didn't over do it. It doesn't take a whole lot to move them, I just used some love taps with a hammer. Now, I don't have any problems with my tail end coming apart while riding and the gaps between the three peices is closed up. Here is a pic of one of the mounting points I was talking about. There is one on the left side as well that could need adjust ment.

Yes, the tab that is just below the exposed wires and between the CDI and fuel cut off relay. The one on the left side is all alone. I bent them out until the gap between the middle and side pieces closed up.
