I just bought a 600rr exhaust and I was looking at the back of the F3. I don't think that it is nearly as difficult as people would think... Anybody ever seen the undertail exhausts for the 954 or 929 by wolf? They wrap around the swing arm and do it really cleanly.

I think, by far, the hardest part is gonna be finding what to do with the tail...Worst case scenario is that I buy a solo tail or something. Any further ideas?

BTW, did the search. Came up mildly uninformative.

 

how are you going to hook this up? theres not enough room between the back of the swingarm and the frame to run the pipe? are you going to use a 600rr header? will it work?

 

I'm gonna route the pipe up and around the swing arm, just hug it really tight to the arm. Making sure, however, that i give the shock enough room to fully flex. I'll post pics when I'm done.

Hey I have a 600rr rear on my bike. Search for a user, I think, cmycbr600 or something like that cuz he's the one that did the tail swap. Its clean, real clean....no untertail exhaust and I'm glad cuz it doesn't really tickle my fancy

 

i know i'm thread hijacking but i also love undertail exhaust. I have a 2006 F4I do they make a undertail kit like the 600rr for the F4I?

 

I just got the exhaust today. It's going to look awesome. Hell yes. [8D]
