Default Just bought..

Well having tried various bikes including a Frieblade, now trying a CBR600f as an all rounder. Pick it up Wednesday.. any instant mods I should do or advice? Looking forward to this bike a 1998 with 31,000 miles..

Advice? See how she runs and tweak as necessary. Might keep an ear out for the notorious CCTL rattle. It'll come from the upper right of the engine, rattling too varying degrees depending on engine temp / rpm. If you want you might check the condition of the r/r. It's under the right tail cowl. If it looks melty or if you pop the connector and one of the sockets is burnt, you might have an r/r issue (or it might have had one in the past and already been replaced).

Beyond that, all the mods I've generally seen are cause the owner wanted to. Bike doesn't need anything stock except petrol and someone to ride her

I would recommend if you have the cash to replace the stock regulator/rectifier if its still on there... when mine went, it took some things with it, including fuses and my battery

Hey, welcome to the forum. With 31,000 on it she's just getting broke in. Like the others have said, the bike doesn't really need anything. Just enjoy riding it. They're great performers and can really carve up the corners. Someday I'd like to get to that side of the pond with my F3 and ride through your countryside.
