Default Jetting Question Please Help

I just bought a Dynojet stage one jet kit and while browsing the directions, there is a step that says to put plugs into the deceleration hoses on the outside carbs. Do these plugs have to go in a certain way or do I just stick the m in there. The directions are very vauge and not informative.

Just try to get them in there evenly, with the smooth round part touching the tubing. The decel circuit hose betw #3 and 4 is a pain to get back on, but it can be done without disassembly. With the plugs in, you might notice that idle is a bit rougher than you'd like... it's kind of intended as a mod for race-bikes running large jets (I think). But as long as it's not stalling at idle and the revs don't 'hang-up there' after you blip the throttle to around 4K, it should run great.

Be sure that the other 2 jet passages beside the main are super clean! I had to pull the carbs off twice more, after I thought I'd cleaned 'em enough.

Good luck!
